Artemia Eggs

Artemia is a type of small crustacean that serves as an excellent food source for juvenile fish. It contains high levels of proteins, fatty acids, and essential vitamins necessary for the growth and health of fish. Artemia helps enhance rapid growth and boosts the immune system, reducing the likelihood of diseases. It also stimulates good feeding behavior and is an excellent source of nutrients, making it a favored choice among fish breeders. Incorporating Artemia into the fish diet can lead to significant improvements in the quality and growth of fish.

How to Hatch Artemia:

2. Preparation: Prepare a hatching tank containing brine water, ensuring the salinity is about 30 parts per thousand, which is equivalent to two tablespoons of non-iodized salt per liter of water.

3. Heating: For optimal hatching rates, it is best to maintain the water temperature between 25-30 degrees Celsius.

4. Oxygen: Use an air pump to introduce oxygen, which helps distribute the eggs and maintain water quality.

5. Lighting: Provide appropriate lighting to enhance the hatching process, typically for 12 to 16 hours a day.

6. Duration: The eggs usually need 24 to 48 hours to hatch.

After that, the larvae will be ready for use as fish food.
